No!! there are no tourist spots, i.e., Historical monuments, Heritage buildings, Mountain tops, Sun-set points, Forts, Palaces, Valley views, Shopping markets, Museums etc. The idea of H Village was conceived, basically for Mumbaikars whose life is fizzed up in daily city traffic, and need a short break in nature (native village like) yet not so far away, it’s an end destination. Unlike other promoted hill stations and beaches, no spouse can tell her hubby now let’s go buy Chikki, Toddy, Wines, Strawberries and visit Vax Museum. Hubbies love this place.

After Russia withdrew forces from Afghanistan in 1989, and Kashmir separatist movement began aggressively, the Government beefed up the security for the three biggest dams supplying water for Mumbai City. Prior to 1990s visitors could enter the Dam and walk over to the other end and back for sight-seeing. Tansa Dam is just 9 kms from H Village, while the backwater starts after 6 kms drive, which is beautiful during monsoons due to dense and lush greenery with streams and rivulets. The other two Dams are Vaitarna (Modak Sagar) and Bhatsa Dam which are a slight longer distance. Tansa was built and commissioned by the British long before independence.

Depends on where you coming from. By bus then 5 kms after Shahpur town take the first left, which is a railway crossing, drive straight through Atgaon village, after which 2 kms is ESAAR petrol pump, we are just before that on left.
